All Divisions
- $240 – first child (insurance included)
- $180 – second child (insurance included)
- $120 – third child (insurance included)
If a Female plays in both Minor and Female divisons: (A Female player can only play on one All-star Team)
- $420 – Total to register in 2 divisions ($240.00 - first child fee (insurance included) + $180.00 - second child fee (no insurance fee)
Dates of “Early” Bird General Registration Dates - September 7th & 8th, 2011 from 7pm to 9pm at the Clarenville Events Centre.

General Registration Fees after September Early Bird Registration
All Divisions
- $280 - 1st child (insurance included)

- $140 - 3rd child (insurance included)

First-time Players – Pre-Novice/Novice (Grade 3 and under) & Junior Girls (12 and under as of December 31st, 2011)
- $125.00 Special Offer remains in place (insurance included) per child.
NOTE: All-star tryouts will be $50.00 per child for participating Divisions. Those picked for the All-star program, will pay an additional registration cost of $175.00.
League setup and Schedule to be announced via web site.
Method of Payment
- All other Divisions: Pay full amount at registration.
Fundraising
CAMHA New Year Draw for $3500.00 is held annually. All All-star teams and Divisions without a Skill Development program are required to sell at least 50 tickets or pay $100.00 extra registration fee. Players are urged to sell more than the minimum amount.
The executive reserves the right to explore the option of having additional fu8ndraiser through out the year is the need arises.

Is your child interested in playing hockey for the first time? Here are some frequently asked questions & answers for first-time hockey parents:
When and Where do I go to register my child for hockey?
- “Early” Bird Registration will take place at the Clarenville
Stadium from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the following dates - September 22nd &
23rd and again on September 29th & 30th
- General Registration will take place at the Clarenville
Events Centre from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the following dates - TBA
How much is registration?
- This year we are once again offering a lower registration
fee of $100.00 for first-time players in Pre-Novice, Novice (grade 3 and
under) & U12 Female ( girls under 12 as of December 31st, 2010) for the
2010-11 hockey season (“Early Bird Registration” discount does not apply to
this special offer).
- Reminder: You can claim the Hockey Registration fees paid in
2010-11 under the “Children’s Fitness Tax Break” – a receipt will be issued
at time of registration.
Does my child need to know how to skate before he/she plays hockey?
- Absolutely not! Most kids learn how to skate ”faster” when
they learn to play hockey!
What equipment do I need to buy?
- Safety is everything with CAMHA. As such, all players are
required to wear full set of certified equipment. This includes helmet with
full face mask, mouthguard, neck protector, shoulder pads, elbow pads,
hockey gloves, hockey pants, protective cup, shin pads, skates and stick. Be
sure to review the “Risk Management” section under “Forms & Guidelines” for

- Visit our “swap shop” – you may find affordable prices on “used” equipment!
My child is too timid to play hockey.
- Your child will gain self confidence while playing hockey
and also learn how to be a team player.
Will my child have lots of ice time?
- Your child will receive a minimum of two hours ice time per
week and he/she will also be given the opportunity to play in games and/or
tournaments on the weekend..
Will my child be covered if they become injured?
- The registration amount does cover insurance for your child
while on the ice.
Will my child receive professional training?
- We have trained hockey coaches in each division which will
provide your child with adequate amount of training to prepare him/her for
hockey.

promoting participation in a minor hockey program that adheres to the
principles of fair play.
